RS422 Asynchronous Serial Communications - Model 8016G provides eight 16550-based UARTs utilizing RS422 signaling. The 8 ports is wired to the PN4 connector at the back of the PMC, allowing connection to the VMEbus P2 connector for host processors supporting back-I/O. This connector furnish front and close access to Input/Output with 32-bit/33 Mhz PCI bus.
